The West Wind
Our large and comfortable vessel the West Wind is a specially
fitted Randall Flybridge Cruiser, powered by a 740hp Detroit diesel
engine. The engine has only recently been replaced for increased
reliability and customer comfort.
St Kilda Charters well-qualified and experienced team is
committed to providing the highest quality service to all our
customers, from the moment you contact us, until you leave the
vessel.
Safety is a major focus for St
Kilda Charters, and the West Wind is equipped with all safety
requirements, as well as two
GPS and two depth sounders
West Wind is licensed to carry 50 passengers for cruising trips.
For fishing trips however, we limit the number to 30 for personal
comfort and safety.
Passenger comfort is a priority, and the West Wind has a spacious
lounge area, galley, stereo, large barbeque, icebox for drinks and
toilet facilities. Half of the back deck is roofed, and has side
curtains for protection in all weather conditions and there is
plenty of seating around the vessel.
